Beyond the Diagnosis: Empowering ALS Families & Community Resource Day is an all-day event dedicated to providing education, support, and resources for individuals and families affected by ALS in New Mexico. Held in a spacious conference center, the symposium features a series of interactive workshops, informative panel discussions, and engaging presentations led by healthcare professionals, experts, and community leaders.
Throughout the day, attendees have the opportunity to participate in sessions covering a wide range of topics related to physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

In addition to educational sessions, the symposium hosts a bustling Community Resource Day, where local organizations, healthcare providers, support groups, and service providers set up booths to offer information, assistance, and demonstrations. Attendees can explore various resources, connect with community partners, and learn about available services tailored to their specific needs.

The event fosters a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging networking, sharing experiences, and building relationships within the community. Participants leave feeling empowered, informed, and equipped with valuable knowledge and resources to navigate their health journey with confidence and resilience.

The Beyond the Diagnosis: Empowering ALS Families & Community Resource Day serves as a beacon of hope and solidarity, uniting individuals and organizations in the collective pursuit of better health and well-being for all.

If you are an ALS family traveling from outside the greater Albuquerque area (30+ miles) ALS New Mexico will cover your travel costs for mileage and hotel stays. Limited to one room per family.
