Fall in New Mexico, Hope for ALS

SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER

CHILE SEASON IS HERE!

Fall in New Mexico is unlike any other. Every year, we’re gifted with crisp mornings, the scent of chile roasting, piñon fires, vibrant fiestas, and skies filled with hot air balloons. I could brag all day about how magical this season is.

But fall also holds a special place in the heart of our ALS community. For 25 years, every September, we’ve laced up our walking shoes and greased our wheels to come together in celebration and remembrance. The Walk ‘n’ Wheel to End ALS is our way of honoring those we’ve lost.

This year’s Walk is extra special; we’re celebrating 25 years of impact, connection, and resilience. We hope you’ll join us on September 21, 2025, to mark this milestone with us.

We’re also proud to share that ALS New Mexico recently took Chicago by storm, representing our community at the national level and bringing back new ideas, partnerships, and energy to fuel our mission.

As we enter the final quarter of the year, we’re powering forward with purpose. Our new home modification program is already making a difference for families across the state, and our research funding is helping accelerate progress toward treatments and a cure.

There’s so much happening this fall, from community events to advocacy efforts, and we want you to be part of it all. Let’s make this season bigger, bolder, and more impactful than ever.

With excitement and gratitude,

Katie Crouch
