Come Help Us Commemorate the 10th Anniversary!

Ice Bucket Challenge

ALS New Mexico is challenging YOU to another year of the Ice Bucket Challenge!

In 2014, the Ice Bucket Challenge changed public perception of ALS disease by inspiring people around the world to participate in a fun event that helped raise $220 million in funding for ALS research. These funds were instrumental in discovering never before seen ALS genes that helped scientists develop new, potential treatments for ALS. Since then, the conversation around ALS research, funding, and social media as a key catalyst of change, has inspired us to re-engage the public in our efforts in ending ALS.The Ice Bucket Challenge reminds us that when we come together as a community, we are capable of making great strides towards raising awareness, securing funds, and achieving breakthroughs in the field of ALS treatment and research.
