We are excited to introduce you to Maria Montoya, who recently joined our team as the Development and Engagement Manager!
Maria brings over 13 years of experience in administration, event coordination, and community engagement. She is a highly organized, self-motivated professional with a strong background in nonprofit development, volunteer coordination, and project management.
Most recently, Maria served as Development Coordinator for the American Lung Association in New Mexico, where she led multiple high-impact events and successfully raised over $115,000 per fiscal year. Her career also includes key roles with Right as Rayne Event Planning, Home Medical Equipment Specialists, Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico, and Quest Diagnostics.
Maria holds an Associate’s degree in Communications and a Project Management Certification from Central New Mexico Community College. She also actively contributes to her community through volunteer roles, including serving as Vice President of the City of Albuquerque Volunteer Advisory Board and a member of the Department of Health Cancer Council Committee.
