As we approach the end of the year, the Muscular Treatment & Patient Alliance (MTPA) is hosting one final opportunity for connection, learning, and support for our ALS community. On Wednesday, November 13th at 7:00 p.m. EST, MTPA will hold its last patient and caregiver webinar of 2025, “Understanding RADICAVA ORS® and How to Get Started.”
This free online event is designed especially for those who have been recently diagnosed with ALS and their care partners, offering practical guidance and a welcoming space to learn together.
A Closer Look at the Session
During the webinar, Dr. Martina Wiedau, a neurologist at UCLA Medical Center, will break down information about RADICAVA ORS® (edaravone) in simple, easy-to-understand terms. Her presentation will focus on what the treatment is, how it works, and what to expect when discussing it with healthcare providers.
Following Dr. Wiedau’s talk, a member of MTPA’s internal team will walk participants through the step-by-step process of getting started with RADICAVA ORS®—from receiving a prescription to taking the first dose. The event will conclude with a live Q&A session, giving attendees a chance to ask questions and gain clarity directly from experts.
